Tasman Holiday Parks - Ledge Point

had good fun in ledge point. towns pretty small so not a crazy amount to do but this caravan park has a pool and a bouncy pillow and all the facilities you need to have a dardy holiday. good four wheel driving around and the beach is nice too. would recommend if you want a chill holiday for a couple days especially if you have ragamuffins.

Fantastic spot to bring the kids, nice shaded camping sites, modern clean amenities. We couldn’t have asked for more! With an outdoor pool, jumping pillow, and playground, there was enough to keep the kids entertained, and with so many other families around they quickly made friends and would disappear each evening for a huge communal game of spotlight around the entire park. Excellent washroom, cooking, and laundry facilities that were never crowded even when the park was at capacity. The caravan park sits on the fringe of Ledge Point as you drive into town, with the beach a stone’s throw away. Just under an hour’s drive from Perth, it still feels like getting away from it all, making it an ideal destination for a weekend away.

This place has a great playground , amenities, pool and is in a great location. The rooms are great and the park is very clean and we did enjoy our stay. The staff are also very friendly. However this park has no control over rowdy teenagers and kids. They played excessively loud music at the playground one night , they also sit on the fence outside our room and make all sorts of racket outside our room. The park did assist both nights to keep the kids quiet, that was appreciated but didn't last long as the out of control kids were back to it . The park's idea is that people can make as much noise as they want to 10 pm, this stops our young children from sleeping . So this is not a park to take young children to, better taking teenagers who wouldn't mind the noise. I would also recommend staying away from the playground, and the wall which is the youth hangout center. Stay towards the back of the park. I believe this park needs to get a better grip on controlling these kids. I have never seen this behavior in a caravan park before in Australia (most parks won't tolerate it), and it makes me think twice about coming back as it's not a relaxing time at all. The park is also too overcrowded, but that was probably due to the long weekend and it's probably very quiet at other times. If you do stay here , never stay over a long weekend or during school holidays, or bring young children.
